I have a mogen 15" flatscreen TV but can't get the TV to power up?

I have a mogen 15" flatscreen TV but can't get the TV to power up and display the channels. The power lead is OK and the small light is on showing power to tv but still nothing comes up on screen when you push the channell buttons. Please help.
