When pressing the On/Off switch a noise starts as if the water is about to enter the machine. That is even before the Wash button is pressed. No water enters the machine even after the wash button is pressed and the wash light comes on. A dry dishwasher!
What's the problem? Is it worth repairing?

tip the appliance on its back and drain the water out of the base.now retry.if water ends up in the base again start looking for a leak
