my mira shower hose is leaking where the hose is attached to the base of the shower only when the shower head is attached

Trampus 09 has got it. Get yourself a new showerhead.

tighten up the chrome nut at the end of the hose, hand tight only.
If this doesnt work replace the rubber sealing washer
inside the chrome nut

sounds like a new rubber washer tween the hose & the shower base is needed - or the hose fitting needs tightening
