How do i fix canon 300D error 99?

I have tried all suggestions, changing lenses, removing battery, cleaning contacts etc etc, i think the shutter might have gone and keep getting the error 99 message. How do i fix this???

Hi, Error 99 is a generic error code but Its most probably the ribbon cable within the lens. Have you tried a different lens?

Ive had this error twice before, Both times it was the AF ribbon cable that was split.
