toyota Sienna CD player ~ NOT WORKING!!!?

My CD player does not work in my 98 Toyota Sienna. It spits it out after a few seconds. Would a CD cleaner help?

Use a cleaning disk and if afterwards fault persists then the laser unit is faulty.
