my desktop has gone sideways its now longways can i turn it the right way up ....can you help please

There's a bar on the screen - it's called the Taskbar.

If you right click on it there's an option to "Lock The Taskbar" - when it's locked it can't be moved - when it's not locked you can drag it to top - bottom - left or right as you wish. Best to lock it when you have it where you want.
