no water at hot tap?

Tried the hose pipe between the tap trick but still no water. The water is pumped from a well is this why it didnt work?

Do u have a hot water cylinder with a header tank above [maybe in loft] ? check that the tank has water [cold] in it - also that the water is able to come out via the outlet to the large pipe which then goes to the cylinder
