Oil boiler is not coming on when I put on heating switch. It will come on for a few moments if I press reset button and then goes off. Could it be the pump?

No I have not run out of oil. I have tested pump now which appears to be fine I think it may now be air in system, I have drained some water out of boiler and it does now try to start up when I put on heating but keeps trying to ignite but stops after a few seconds before trying again and again at which point I have to switch off. How else apart from bleeding radiators can I get rid of air in system?

Have you run out of Oil? have you recently had a delivery, Sounds like you need an OFTEC Technician to sort it
