washer/dryer ariston every time switch on washing machine it blows a fuse, any ideas?

It blows a fuse or trips an earth leakage device??? There is a big difference. A blown fuse indicates a short circuit somewhere on the machine. A tripped earth leakage device indicates an earth fault (usually heater).
