Hi i can't get the boiler to "fire up"?

Having read various q and a's, i have replaced the overheat thermostat, also the igniter. The pilot light will not start either when turning the ignition knob anticlockwise. Any ideas? The make is a Baxi combi 80 eco.

tell us what it does rather than does not....

does the heating work? water work?
no.
demand - recognised - pump - fan - aps - ignition.

work backwards, where does it get too?

o/h stat replaced with new wire into board type? wouldnt usually cause total failure just old style would require manual reset every now and then.

Igniter, wouldnt of thought so.

With the eco, heat always causes problems with little over run, fan venturi warped? possibility

if it's not working for heating or water it could be any number of problems. stop replacing parts that are not faulty and get a qualifed engineer out to diagnose the fault properly, it'll be cheaper in the long run. also you should not be doing this work by yourself, and overheat stat is a safety device and you are breking the law by tampering with it.
