How can I fix my Jones hand powered sewing machine CF no.22031?

My 35+ year old sewing machine has suddenly gone into reverse. The material will only come towards me making it impossible to sew. Is there anything I can adjust to put it back to normal mode. I have no manual. I think the machine might have been made in Taiwan. Any ideas please.

Hello drivewithken,
Thanks for your advice which has solved my dilemma. The problem was the stitch length lever which had been accidentally pushed past its red markings to the top. I am now able to sew in the right direction again.

Hello Rosemary,
I am trying to remember the CF, I know the CS and if the machine is sewing in reverse it may be a simple thing such as the stitch length lever pushed to the top, failing that you will need to get into the top of the machine, if the top does not come off, on the back of the machine there should be a big plate that you need to take off, you will then see a large part that looks like a two pronged fork that has a cam inside it, you need to slacken the screw on the cam and move it slightly either way until you get a forward stitch.
