how do i fix a starter motor on my ford mondeo 1.8 turbo diesel L reg '94' The one on will not come off all bolts, nuts and wires off but will not budge any ideas please and theres 4 wires comming off old one ad only space for 2 on new one

jay, if all of the bolts are out then the starter pinion may be stuck a little force is required dont forget it is the old one right
not sure about the wires mate normaly there are as many on new as old[live from battery,live from /to ignition switch three i count?[sometimes there is a bolt which runs behind the starter
between the starter an the engine normally three bolts]
