we have got a second hand till & are trying to set it up,
the manual told us to leave it on in reg mode to charge the battery up- we have done that but now it just says "closed" & can't go any further !What do we do, any help will be much welcomed.

You need to login a clerk. You can try entering a 1 and pressing the CLERK key which is usually in the upper right corner of the keyboard.

If you don't have one, you should really try to get a manual for your till. It will cover all of the details like this.
