My Violin is out of tune every Thursday when I go to my lessons?

My pegs are really loose and I want to know if I can do anything.

Why don't you ask to have your lesson on a Wednesday instead?

I see it is 4 months later. How has it been? Your violin always goes out of tune likely because:

1) temperature change, and esp. when it is cold outside, the pegs slip more easily.

2) The violin gets jostled around (up, down, side to side) in case.

What is important is that you learn how to tune. Then no matter what, you should tune every day. Eventually, it should be very easy to fix it in seconds. Ask your teacher to spend more time during lessons to master tuning. Good luck, and would like to hear how it's going! :o)
