For a Renault fitted with a Philips radio, you have to use the thumbwheel on the steering column remote control to select the digit, press the mute or bottom button (on the remote control) to change the digit. Repeat the procedure till the 4 numbers of the code are on the display and then press the mute or bottom button for more than 2 seconds to validate code...You should hear a bleep. If you get it wrong, an error bleep will sound and CODE will appear on the display. You can re-enter the code (radio switched on and 0000 showing) after approximately 1 minute the first time. Subsequent errors in entering the code result in a longer wait!!!!! (UP TO 32 MINUTES!!!)
