What is causing microwave noise?

My Kenmore microwave model 665.61629100 is making a grinding noise even when I cut the turntable off. It still heats but makes noise. Any ideas?

It sounds like you have either a bad stirrer, stirrer motor or a bad fan that is rubbing up against the fan housing, this job is for a professional to tackle due to the fact that there are lethal voltages (4000 volts unplugged) that exist in this unit and a radiation leakage test must be done after the repair is completed.
