Hi Ian many thanks for your answer to my question ,will i have to drain the pressure out of the system first before i repressure the expantion vessel or can i do it with pressure in system ,is half a bar the correct pressure for expantion vessel.Can i use a bike pump to do the job.

system needs to be drained and drain open while re-pressurising. normal footpump will do the job, usually 0.8 - 1 bar is correct pressure.
