Does the VAILLANT - VCW GB 242 EH Boiler always have an expension vessel ?

I have seen I need to drain down the system prior to pressurizing the Expansion vessel and had it drained today to swap out an old leaky TRV. I looked for the EV but could not find one anywhere, is it possible these is no EV on my system?

if you aint got one you aint got one, simples not all combis have expansion vessels some rely on a bit of air in a radiator to tek up expansion. it'll be rate trust me im ya daddy
