Suddenly my DELL laptop stopped displaying on the monitor. After trying a number of solutions, no result. So I left it idle. Suddenly after few months it started displaying but then it again stopped displaying after a week. So I again left it idle. Suddenly after 10 months it again started displaying, but only for about an hour. The same day there was again display for 2-3 seconds, twice only. Now sometimes it flashes for a second. Any solutions. Otherwise I am for selling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It needs to go to a computer hospital for surgery - it will cost you money - if you sell it as it is you will be lucky to get £1.50 for it.
