Hotpoint washer leaks?

Hotpoint washer model# WLW3600S, leaks a little water when in spin cycle or emptying. Please help. There's also a little oil or grease on the floor.

Check that the flexi- waste pipe is properly inserted into the house, waste water pipe. If okay, the machine may have a split in the rubber door seal but this would leak when doing a wash also, check it anyway even though it's unlikely.
There could be a split in the flex-pipe I mentioned, this can happen if it gets trapped and is nipped when pushing the machine against the wall.
Take the flex-pipe out of the drain, put it out the door or into a sink, empty some water into the machine and turn on to "Spin". Watch as the machine empties and check the pipe for leaks.
Try these before calling out the engineer.
