how can i fix my kitchenaid mixer model K5-A?

My kitchenaid mixer is making noise as if it needs to be greased. How do i take it apart and grease it? What type of grease is needed?

There are four large screws holding the mixing head to the stand. Remove them and then remove the head from the stand. Remove the two small screws at the rear of the unit which holds the name strip in place. Now turn the head over and notice that there is a shaft which is flush with the rotating beater holder. Use a nail or a small drift pen to drive the small pin in the side of the flush shaft out. Now, while holding the beater attachment shaft drive the flush shaft out with a wooden dowel. Remove the screws under this cover and the four screws at the rear half of the unit. Examine all of the bearings and gears. Remove all bad grease and redistribute the good grease.
