i had the same problem and found out is was the speed sensor, this is located on the front right hand side underneath the arched plastic cover.two screws hold this cover down unscrew and lift cover off and you will see a sqaure black plastic block held down with a metal bracket,it is worth unsrewing this and wiping the face and also wiping the face of the motor wheel.reassemble and try again.thats all that mine needed.unless this sensor pick up the speed of the wheel the display does not move.if you find this doent fix your problem then a new one can be purchaced from-: Hi-mark Morley carr road, Lowmoor, Bradford, BD12 ORW priced £15.
If you do need to fit a new one you will need to let the handle down and lift the treadmill vertical so you can get to the underside and unsrew the plastic cover from the bottom so you ca get at the other end of the cable from the sensor just unclips so you can reclip new one. hope all this info come in handy for you. post a reply so i know how you got on. cheers paul
