Hoover Mach 3.3 need to replace belt?

I have a Hoover Mach 3.3 vacuum cleaner, the belt is broken and I've taken it a part but I don't see where I attach the belt other than the one on the brush roller, where's the other area I attach it to?

Lay the brush roller where it belongs at the front of the vacuum. Find the spot where the belt goes on the roller to the right-hand side looking at it from the front. Now look from the place where the belt belongs straight toward back and up just a bit. You should see a short bar sticking out of the housing and pointing to the right. This is where the belt attaches.

Now that you know where the belt belongs take out the roller and loop the belt over the roller and over the bar. Don't try to pull on it to get in until you place the left end of the roller brush into it's slot in the left side of the housing. Once the left end is in it's slot place start pulling the the brush roller toward you. The vacuum is going to start moving toward you. Since you are probably already on the floor pull the front of the machine toward you until it is braced against your knees. Then keep pulling the brush roller toward you until it will slide down in the slot.
