I have small moth holes in my wool coat. Can it be fixed?

My long wool coat has a few moth holes. I would like to know if this is something I can fix myself, of if it is something that has to be done a professionally. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I have actually taken a needle and thread and carefully stitched the holes closed from the inside of the garment. If the holes are too large then the fabric will pucker and be noticeable but otherwise it works quite well. Since your coat is made of wool the stitches will likely blend into the fabric and never be noticed. Make certain your thread is an exact match and make very small stitches. Best Wishes.
