my washing machine is showing the fault f-08 can anyone tell me how to fix this please???

washer showing error code F01 have checked the wiring all seems ok but I do think it has become damp inside the machine because of my tumble drying being next to it so am trying to dry it out, repair man said I need a new motor, new bearing, new drum etc. Any ideas?
