pump on fish tank not working?

when i switched my fish tank pump off to clean it .it wood not come back on when i switched it back on.what should i do/

i have the same problem.. how long can fish live in a tank with no pump ??

check that all the components are back in correctly and nothing is jammed then if that is ok try giving the pump a little tap or a shake to see if it will start.
