how to get the pressure up on your boiler?

how to get the pressure up on the boiler, for hot water when you have low pressure

if you have a combi the is nothing you can do, but make shure the in let valves are fully open and the inlet fillter is clean.
If off a header tank you could fit a booster pump.

Assuming this is a combi boiler, there should be a fill valve (probably a black lever) on the boiler. This is connected to a filling loop which is a stainless steel flexible pipe connecting two of the pipes on the boiler. Some water authorities insist that this should be removed when not in use so it may not be there. However, you will no doubt be able to get one at B & Q or a plumbers merchant.
Turn the valve open slowly and watch the pressure rise on the gauge. There should be a red needle or mark on the gauge. Do not let the pressure go past this mark.
Switch boiler on and keep warm.
