I have removed the old motor coupler but it's not broken. Before I replace it anyway and still have the same problem I was wanting to know if the coupler can still be the problem even though the plastic parts or the rubber part are not broken? Please advise.

I went ahead and changed the coupler even though it wasn't broken and the washer works like new. Even though the old coupler wasn't broken the plastic parts were lose when inside the rubber part but the plastic parts were very firm in the rubber piece on the new part so I guess that makes a lot of difference.
