I am trying to get my washing machine to turn on but it won't. I have selected the program number on the dial, pushed in the dial button but the on/off button won't do anything. the door and drawer are definitely shut. i don't know whats gone wrong! the on light has flashed on a couple of times when i first tried but nothing now.

on/off switch on the front control panel sounds faulty.this will require a new switch to solve problem.about £6 to buy
