I have a smoke glass cocktail table, I have chipped it, the glass broke into one piece which is about 3" long and 1/2" wide. I was hoping to glue it back together, however I don't want the glue to appear on the table after it drys. Does anyone have any suggestions of a glue to use?

You wont get a good repair with this Shirley, but there are glass adhesives available...Loctite do one.
Why not visit a local glazier, taking the old top with you? He can cut glass to size, polish the edges etc and the job will be perfect afterwards.
