How do I clean the controls on my Diplomat Select 600 hob?

I just want to clean the control knobs on the hob unit as they are thick with grease - I can't seem to take them off - what am I supposed to do?

HI Nicola,
you can get the knobs off - try levering them up with a piece of thin, rigid platic or wood - a chopstick might do it without scratching your surface.
