I want to turn my toilet to fit with new layout but have been suggested too that palnning permission would be required; is this right? I don't want to move it across the bathroom just turn it against another wall but the pipes will need extending.
No you dont. feel free to extend your pipes and move the loo to the other wall if you wish. Make sure that the soil pipe connections are possible in the new position before you start.
