Spare battery for Ferm 24v drill ?

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain a new battery to fit my Ferm 24volt cordless drill, the battery is an FCDB-2400 and seems to be giving in after a lot of use.

Hi if you go to ebay & type in
BATTERY FIX | Makita Drill 9000 191681-2 9.6V 2.0Ah it just might save you a lot of money, don't worry about it saying makita it covers all types of Ni-Cd batteries, hope this helps.

Hi your answer to a ferm 24v battery.
If you google search CPC this is a tool company.
In there search box put DURATOOL.
you will see a cordless drill 24v the batterys to this drill are the same as the ferm 24v.
You can buy the drill at £35 21p with 2 batt.
or buy the batterys on there own at £11.55p.
I have just bought the drill because i was not sure if it was the same. The drill looks a bit different to the ferm but the batterys are.
24v nikel cad 1.2ah.I have interchanged the batterys to both drills with no problem.
Regards K.Mason.

I don't know about Ferm but unfortunately, it's often cheaper to buy a new drill than to buy a battery.

I've never done it but someone once suggested taking the battery apart and replacing the cells with those available from Maplins. I took a battery apart and it looked like a fairly straightforward soldering job but I never got around to it.

Just an idea.
