The drum on my Bendix BIW 105W won't rotate?

The drum on my Bendix BIW 105W won't rotate on both wash and spin, it moves a fraction then stops. The drum moves freely and so does the motor by hand. I checked the brushes and there's hardly any wear and no burning. I get a reading of 2.2 Ohms across the commutator of the motor with the leads disconnected, which would be about right. First indication of a problem was when it tripped the RCD. They used to put wiring diagrams inside the machines but not any more so it's difficult to diagnose faults. I’m starting to think that it might be the programmer but any other ideas would be appreciated

check the motor insulation to earth on all pins on the motor connector.its a motor issue or main pcb at a guess, both of which are half the cost of a new machine!
