Straighten a tooth on B&D hedge trimmer?

I caught my hedge trimmer on a piece of metal in the hedge and one tooth is bent. What is the best way to straighten it? and is it easy to do?

Usually when a hedge trimmer catches a piece of metal, it's not only the tooth on the blade that gets damaged. The gear teeth inside the gearbox usually get chewed up. If this has happened it's probably as cheap to get a new hedge trimmer !
The blade and gear comes as an assembly, costing something like £30 or so.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

Remove the balde. Lay it on a flat concreate surface and tap it with a hammer. You can also put it in a vise and bend it
