thanks for trhe answer but i don't think you appreciate that an electronics engineer cannot repair everything without a circuit diagram of that particular item.

you'll be lucky, especially pcb, you going right into full electronics rather than heating engineer and even then, anyone doing anything with it, will know what all components are anyway.....pi*&ing into wind me thinks.
