Our Window doen't close right?

We have a window that, when you close it, leaves a gap at the top where the draft blows in....

It has a sliding mechanism on both sides and the window opens outwards at the bottom,

Can this be repaired?

yes you need new hinges but you have to replace both ie the pair of them this will solve the problem
