Prevent external pipe from freezing?

I am putting an MDPE pipe from my house into my outhouse but can't bury it below the frost line, how can I insulate it from freezing.
Should I bury it as deep as possible and is there insulation I can put around it or can I clip it above ground and insulate it?

Sorry, forgot to say in previous post.I would try to keep the pipe above ground when you can see it,you don't know whats going on underground,
Make sure you waterproof it and make sure the wind can't blow on it i.e. box it in.

I once had to run 2 heating pipes outside for about a metre along a wall before it went back into the building. We wrapped it with fibreglass wrapping and then boxed it in with wood and finally water proofed the whole lot with roofing felt. That was 15 years ago ,I have worked at the same premises many times since then never been any problems.
