pebble dash trowel?

Where on earth would you find a hurling trowel which is recomended for pebble dash no luck so far from my local builders merchants, any ideas for a substitute.

It's easy enough to make one. Just get a piece of sheet metal about 100 x 200 mm- e.g. 2 mm aluminium and make a 90 degree bend at 150 mm along the long side. Screw a short piece of large diameter dowel or brush handle to it.
