My E30 325i Sport has been parked for over a year now, with no usage. By that I mean it's done a total of 2 miles. Took it for its annual MOT and she failed as the brakes are binding? Is this an easy repair and what does this even mean?

front brakes or rear brakes? either way they need to be taken apart and cleaned and lubricated were nessesary. if your not sure take it to a garage and ask for a brake service.
