can I fix a new motor to my old Frister rossmann model 45?

My Frister Rossmann 45 motor seems to be fusing my house electrics whenever I use it.I want to put a new motor on but how difficult is it?

Hello Brenda,
It is very easy, if you are in the UK buy a YDK motor and foot control complete and just screw it on, when you take off the old motor undo the bottom so you can see where the light wires are attached, are you sure it is the motor that is fusing the house electrics, make sure you put a 3 amp fuse in the plug and then use the machine. the fuse should blow in the plug before the house, if the fuse does not blow in the plug but the house electrics fuse then it is something else.
