how to fix dial control?

my dial just turns now without any noise, so that i cannot hear the click when i select a programme,how do i fix this on the indesit wd12. thanx

Determine, if you can, if the knob is simply spinning on the switch shaft, or whether the switch itself is actually turning. This will tell you if you need a new knob or switch!
