Hi Fred,
There are 3 screws under the powder drawer you need to remove then, the front case just comes off with some prizing around the edges with a flat blade screwdriver. Once the panel is off, you can remove the old dial by pressing inward the clips on the inner edge of the dial that hold it onto the rotation rim & it just comes off outwards.
I am very interested to know where you can purchase a replacement dial for this model, as I have the same problem and can't find anywhere on the new that sells it!
