drain overflow?

My Kenmore washer spins and discharges the wast water faster than the drain can take it. We have had the drain snaked 2 times with no change. it dumps about 1 Qt of water on the floor with each load. The washer is in the garage so it’s not a large problem but it is a nuisance. Any solutions?

Presumably there was a time when this didn't happen - so something has changed - water is "backing up" somewhere in your drains - it's just a case of searching. Do you have an outside inspection pit? Lift the lid and watch down the hole while the machine tries to empty.

Good luck...
