How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel gwl15 washer?

I bought the washer August 2007. Last week it started having problems with the rinse cycle. The washer makes it to the rinse cycle. It will drain intermittently a couple times before it stops, then starts to beep with three lights lit on the wash process. I went into diagnostic mode and the same three lights lit up which indicated "pumped blocked error, #37". I took the pump and diverter off to check both, and the hoses, but could not find any blockage or particles lodged anywhere. I am not sure what to do next. Is it possible the pump is bad or something else? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are sure there is no obstruction inside the pump opening then check the following. Make sure pump is very easy & free to turn by hand. If not it may need some lubrication on the bearings. If free to turn you can check pump winding resistance if you have access to a ohm meter. Should be 33.5 ohms across the two terminals on the pump. Failing that it may also be a problem with the motor controller not supplying enough power to run it properly. You could only check that if you had access to another pump & tried it. If that pump does the same thing then you will have to change the controller module.
