Where is the release lever inside Micra boot?

Hello, my 2005 nissan auto has same problem with the boot , switch won't work with key fob or manually. According to the manual there is a lever inside.
I managed to crawl into the boot but could not find a lever? Any advice please as I know this is going to be costly.
