fsd stuck shut keeping burner on low fire, check to see if brass type torpedo has fell out the path of the flame. this heats up by small flame expanding a liquid vapour which opens up the gas valve to high flame. if its still in the right place it'll be clipped, then you need a repair. obv check without gas on =)
