I have a Vaillant Ecotech as well and have just experienced the same problem - the radiator temperature dial has broken off at the plastic axle. Have been alright with the temp setting for the past few weeks but now winter is closing in, I need the radiator temp hotter to keep the place warm. Tried to adjust the heat by sticking a screwdriver in there and twisting, but nothing to catch on to. Anecdotally, a friend with the sane boiler is experiencing the same issue, again with the radiator dial.
