got CH but burner wont light for hot water. help?

the burner fires normally for central heating but when you select hot water the light comes on but burner doesnt fire. model is Glow-worm micron 50FF

zone valve on the hot water flow prob faulty motor. manualy open it with lever on side of it . then check to se if boiler fires.
