Samsung Washing machine slowly fills with water when idle?

Hi there,

As the title suggetsts, my Samsung washing machine fills up with whater when not in use, I suspect that the input must have an electricly oppertaed tap or similar that's wearing our? Any ideas? and if parts are available anywhere?

Steve, I can give you a good hint on this one. My machine recently had a similar problem, I took off the machine top and tapped the water input valve solenoids with a screwdriver handle while the problem was evident - it stopped the water flow. The problem was a sticky valve and I found a replacement on the net. Note to find the problem this way meant the machine was running - so be careful !
